• Our Story

  RBI is the world leader in retro reflective airfield lighting and landing products and the largest manufacturer of retro reflective airfield in the world.

• We design and manufacture other products that use retro reflective technology, including uses in policing, and emergency medical services.

• RBI was established in 1989 with a team of aviation lighting specialists, their mission being to create an alternate type of runway/heliport lighting systems that would not require electricity or maintenance to operate.

• RBI’s reflective runway and heliport edge markers are preferred worldwide as primary or backup lighting systems by civil operators, armed forces, and commercial operations. In 2002 RBI became a FAA certified manufacturer, thus proving through the efforts of our team and the acceptance by the world’s largest aviation authority that reflective technology in aviation is a proven and safe equivalent to electrical systems.

• Today RBI's systems are used worldwide, from Antarctica to the North Pole. Our systems are used in war zones, by the police, emergency medical services and countless civil aviation air fields around the world.
